Here is a closer look at the key leaders driving PlastiColors forward as we live out our brand promise: “Leave a Legacy. Not a landfill.”

Michelle Fleming – Managing Director

Michelle joined PlastiColors in 2008 as Financial Manager and SAP developer. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and Pure Mathematics from the University of the Witwatersrand, she qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and was appointed Financial Director in 2009, subsequently stepping into the role of Managing Director in 2026.

Michelle brings a commercially grounded, analytical perspective to an evolving market. She believes the future of polymers requires looking beyond the traditional friction between performance and sustainability, focusing instead on practical, scalable technologies that seamlessly integrate into real-world manufacturing and recycling infrastructure.

Carolyn Kellock – Technical Manager

Carolyn joined PlastiColors as Technical Manager in 2017, bringing a Science Honours in Chemistry and a National Diploma in Polymer Technology—both earned Cum Laude. Her background spans PTFE, Engineering Polymers, and Polyolefins.

Behind every high-performing masterbatch is a blend of science, practical experience, and a precise understanding of material behavior. Carolyn’s deep technical knowledge across diverse converting sectors has established PlastiColors as a recognized technical leader in the Southern African plastics industry.

Amanda Burger – Q-Lab Manager

Joining PlastiColors three years ago as Q-Lab Manager, Amanda brought extensive laboratory management experience to the team. Quickly mastering the complex science of technical color, she developed a deep passion for the precision required to achieve exact color matches and batch-to-batch consistency.

Today, Amanda leads our team of color matchers and quality controllers, ensuring every product dispatched meets rigorous technical standards.

Nadine Visser – Internal Sales & Logistics Manager

Nadine represents nearly three decades of dedicated service at PlastiColors, having joined the company in 1997 at the age of 20. Progressing from Internal Sales to Head of Department and now Internal Sales and Logistics Manager, Nadine has witnessed the evolution of both the company and the broader plastics sector.

Her multi-faceted role spans customer relations, problem-solving, production planning, dispatch, exports, and transport logistics. Leading a team of five, Nadine takes immense pride in the enduring client relationships she has cultivated over nearly 30 years.

Kate Wood – Finance Manager

Prior to joining PlastiColors nearly 12 years ago, Kate worked for a large corporate electrical contractor. Seeking an agile environment where individual contribution is truly valued, she found her ideal fit at PlastiColors.

As Finance Manager, Kate oversees financial operations while driving process improvement across costing, financial reporting, systems integration, and strategic operational savings.
